Inspired by its social responsibility and child-focused advocacy programmes, Air Peace Limited, marked Children’s Day 2025 by sponsoring and actively participating in two remarkable events: the Parkland Amusement Center Children’s Fiesta and Raising Star’s This Ability 4.0. Both events served a unified purpose—celebrating children while promoting inclusive spaces that empower every young voice, regardless of background or ability.

At the Parkland Amusement Center in Lagos, the Children’s Fiesta brought together pupils from underserved communities for a lively day of games, laughter, and connection. Air Peace sponsored 40 children to partake in the fun, ensuring they experienced a day filled with joy, entertainment, and camaraderie.

The event, supported by top brands like Chocolate City, Mavin Records, and Ryno Auto, resonated with the spirit of unity and celebration.

In parallel, the airline also threw its weight behind This Ability 4.0, an annual advocacy event spotlighting children with disabilities. Held at The Darlington Hall, Ilupeju, and themed

“Empowering Every Voice”, the event featured a dynamic lineup: an art exhibition showcasing the talents of children with disabilities, inclusive fashion and music performances, a dance competition involving special needs schools, and seminars tailored for parents, advocates, and caregivers.

Financial grants were also presented to support youth-led enterprises and young adults living with disabilities.

Dignitaries including the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, and actress Juliana Olayode graced the inclusive celebration, joined by reputable brands such as the Aliko Dangote Foundation, MILO, BIC Nigeria, NNPC, Supreme Foods, and Maltina.

Air Peace’s involvement extended beyond mere attendance.

The airline presented a cash prize to the winner of the talent showcase, underscoring its recognition of creativity and excellence among children with special needs.

A representative also delivered a goodwill message that echoed the company’s belief in equitable opportunity for every child.

Mr. Ikenna Nnabuife, Head of Marketing at Air Peace, expressed the airline’s passion for supporting such child-centered initiatives:

“We believe that every child, regardless of background or ability, holds immense potential.

By supporting events like these, Air Peace is reinforcing its vision of a society where every young voice matters, every talent is celebrated, and no child is left behind. We’re not just flying aircraft—we’re lifting lives,” he stated.

While he could not be present in person, Dr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, offered a moving message affirming the airline’s values and its Children’s Day CSR commitment:

“Children are the soul of any nation’s future. At Air Peace, we recognize that investing in their joy, dignity, and sense of belonging is one of the highest callings of corporate citizenship. Our decision to support both mainstream and inclusive celebrations of Children’s Day is grounded in the belief that true greatness lies in uplifting the vulnerable, empowering the gifted, and building a future where no child feels invisible. This is our pledge—not just to fly, but to foster hope,” he declared.

By embracing both mainstream and inclusive Children’s Day celebrations, Air Peace continues to exemplify the true essence of corporate citizenship—compassion, community, and commitment.

The airline’s dual participation is a testament to its dedication to nurturing a future where no child is left behind and where the skies are open to all dreams.
