Air Peace Limited has further strengthened its operational capacity with the addition of its first Embraer 190 aircraft.
The aircraft with registration 5N-CEF, landed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 19:38 on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
Speaking to journalists, Air Peace Spokesperson, Osifo-Whiskey Efe revealed that the new 118-seater jet marks the airline’s first Embraer 190, with another unit expected to join the fleet next month. This acquisition forms part of Air Peace’s broader strategy to boost both domestic and regional operations.
“This aircraft type brings a new dimension to our service offerings. It is designed for efficiency, eco-friendly installations, and passenger comfort, such as a 2-2 seating layout, quiet and spacious cabin, making it the ideal fit for many of our routes. It enables us to connect more cities seamlessly and serve underserved destinations with the right capacity,” Efe said.
He reaffirmed the airline’s ongoing commitment to improving air travel across Nigeria through continued investment in the right aircraft to support its expansive network.
With a fleet exceeding 30 aircraft, Air Peace remains a dominant force in West Africa’s aviation sector.
The airline posted an impressive 85% average on-time performance across its domestic network as of May 2025, underscoring its operational reliability and dedication to customer service.
Looking ahead to the third quarter, Air Peace projects strong growth, with plans to introduce new domestic routes, expand its regional network, launch additional international services, and continue strategic fleet acquisitions to meet rising passenger demand.
