The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for implementing what he described as transformative policies aimed at stabilising business operations and fostering economic growth in Nigeria.
Onyema, who met with the President at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, December 12, expressed optimism about the administration’s strides in easing business operations, particularly in the aviation sector.
He noted that recent reforms introduced by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, reflect the government’s commitment to revamping the industry.
While acknowledging the economic challenges facing the nation, Onyema highlighted the potential long-term benefits of Tinubu’s initiatives, urging Nigerians to rally behind the administration’s vision and support indigenous investments.
“The President is a businessman, and he’s trying to stabilise businesses with his policies, but people don’t realise this,” Onyema said.
“Some of us in business understand what the President is trying to achieve. What he is doing is the real restructuring of the country. Many Nigerians think restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what Tinubu is doing is changing how we operate for better results in the long run.”
Onyema reaffirmed his belief in Tinubu’s leadership and reforms, describing them as a crucial foundation for sustainable development in Nigeria’s aviation sector and beyond.
