Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s main carriers, suffered an incident on landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Sunday.
One of its jets, which operated as flight P47190, out of Lagos, had a runway excursion after landing safely at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
According to Osifo-whiskey Efe, Spokesperson of Air Peace Limited, the aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage.
“All passengers disembarked safely and calmly and no injuries were reported. We reassure the flying public of our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations”, he said in a statement.
As a standard operating practice, officials of the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) will visit the incident site for further investigation and safety recommendation.
