The women’s final was equally captivating, as the BUJ Amazons triumphed over the BYF Angels in a closely contested penalty shootout, following a 1-1 regular-time score.

Air Peace’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Allen Onyema, graced the event, along with key executives and staff members.

Dr. Onyema highlighted the deeper meaning behind October Fest, emphasizing that it symbolized more than just sporting competition.

“October Fest is about celebrating the resilience, dedication, and unity of our Air Peace family. Over the last 10 years, these values have driven our success, and this tournament showcases the spirit of teamwork that continues to push us forward,” Dr. Onyema said.

Adding to the festivities, staff who attended were rewarded with exciting prizes, including international flight tickets, home appliances, and cash rewards, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Since its founding in 2013, Air Peace has risen to become a dominant force in the African aviation industry, connecting travelers across Nigeria, West Africa, and international destinations such as Dubai, London, and Johannesburg.
