Air Peace Limited has announced the resumption of daily return flights between Ibadan and Abuja from December 24, 2025, a move aimed at boosting domestic connectivity and easing travel for passengers, especially during the busy festive season.

The airline said the decision follows the reopening of Ibadan Airport, which was previously shut to commercial flight operations.

With flight activities now restored, Air Peace is moving quickly to meet growing demand from travellers in Oyo State and neighbouring areas who rely on air transport for swift access to the nation’s capital.

Fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will start from ₦95,000, positioning the service as an affordable and reliable option for business and leisure travellers alike.

The airline noted that the pricing is designed to offer value while ensuring operational efficiency during the peak travel period.

According to the airline, the development is part of its broader network expansion and capacity enhancement strategy announced for the yuletide season.

This includes the resumption of Warri operations and the introduction of additional frequencies on key domestic routes to accommodate increased passenger traffic and sustain growth into 2026.

Air Peace said the reinstated Ibadan service is further supported by its expanding fleet, following the recent arrival of its third Embraer 190 aircraft.

The addition is expected to improve schedule reliability, enhance route flexibility, and strengthen service delivery across its domestic network.

Reaffirming its commitment, the airline said it remains focused on connecting underserved markets and reducing the stress associated with road travel.

“We are committed to improving access, easing travel for our passengers, and supporting socio-economic activities through safe, reliable air transport,” the airline stated.

Passengers have been advised to book early through the Air Peace website, mobile application, or accredited travel agents to take advantage of the promotional fares.

As Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace said it will continue to demonstrate resilience and responsiveness, offering expanded flight options, competitive pricing, and improved access for travellers nationwide during the festive season and beyond.
