Air Peace has announced the full resumption of its flight operations effective Friday, April 25, 2025.
The Head, Corporate Communications, Air Peace Limited, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday.
The flight resumption follows the intervention of the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, which led to suspension of an ongoing strike by workers of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) and other affiliated labour unions in the aviation sector.
“We sincerely thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support throughout this challenging period. Your resilience and trust in our brand mean the world to us,” said Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace.
The airline also extended deep appreciation to Keyamo, saying his proactive intervention played a decisive role in resolving the dispute and restoring calm across the industry.
“Keyamo’s swift engagement with all stakeholders, his transparent approach to dialogue, and his unwavering dedication to the stability and progress of the aviation sector reflect a deep understanding of the critical role aviation plays in national development,” the statement continued.
“His efforts not only facilitated the timely resolution of the strike but also underscored his broader vision for a safer, more efficient, and investor-friendly Nigerian aviation landscape.”
Customers with inquiries, reservation concerns, or requests for rescheduling are encouraged to reach out to the airline via email at [email protected] or by phone at +234-201-343-8133. The Air Peace support team remains available to provide prompt assistance.
Reaffirming its commitment to excellence, the airline stated: “Air Peace remains committed to providing safe, reliable, and world-class services to our passengers and stakeholders. We look forward to continuing to serve you with excellence.”
