Air Peace, on Thursday, announced that its 06:30 Abuja-Lagos flight experienced a bird strike before take-off, prompting the crew to make a safe return to the ramp as a precautionary measure.
In a statement signed by Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head Corporate Communications at Air Peace, all passengers safely deplaned without incident.
He added that in response to the disruption, the airline swiftly deployed a replacement aircraft to minimise delays and ensure passengers could continue their journeys as quickly as possible.
The airline expressed its commitment to providing seamless travel experiences and maintaining high safety standards.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers impacted by this event, as well as those on other flights that may experience delays.
“We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience during this time,” said the airline in a statement.
The airline further reaffirmed its dedication to delivering safe, comfortable and reliable air travel for all its passengers.
