On a day dedicated to love and appreciation, Air Peace Limited, celebrated its customers with the grand opening of its Executive Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 on February 14, 2026.

The Valentine’s Day launch was more than ceremonial as it accentuated the airline’s commitment to comfort, excellence, and premium service across its growing network.

The event attracted top management, staff, members of the media and First and Business Class passengers on the airline’s London route. Former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, was among the distinguished guests present to witness what the airline described as another milestone in its expansion journey.

The newly unveiled lounge offers an exclusive pre-flight retreat designed with cream-toned décor and a modern, elegant ambience.

With seating for over 39 guests, including six ergonomically designed recliners, the space prioritises relaxation and privacy.

A dedicated workspace equipped with computer monitors and printing facilities caters to business travellers, while two private pods fitted with tablets and headphones provide quiet zones for virtual meetings or entertainment.

An entertainment area with a large television and a fully stocked bar serving pastries, soft drinks, and selected beverages further enhances the experience.

Guests also have access to real-time flight updates via interactive display monitors, all within a facility secured by a 24-hour, 360-degree surveillance system.

Speaking at the unveiling, Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nowel Ngala, described the lounge as “a strategic investment in customer experience and brand positioning.”

He added that it reflects Air Peace’s determination to deliver “world-class services comparable to global standards” while reinforcing its leadership in the region. According to him, the lounge is “not just infrastructure, but a statement of appreciation to our loyal premium passengers.”

Peter Obi commended the airline’s innovation drive, noting that indigenous carriers must continue investing in infrastructure to strengthen Nigeria’s global aviation profile.

With the Executive Lounge, Air Peace signals yet another bold step in its growth trajectory, offering passengers a seamless blend of comfort, prestige, and elevated travel experience from takeoff to touchdown.
