Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance) has attributed its operational excellence in the aviation sector to the staunch support and collaboration of its partners.

The acknowledgment came during a special evening organised by NAHCO on Friday, December 5, 2025, where the company brought together its customers and stakeholders, including partner airlines, cargo agents and regulators to express gratitude for their continued trust and partnership.

At the event, NAHCO’s Chairman, Board of Directors, Dr. Seinde Oladapo Fadeni, emphasized the critical role of stakeholders in the company’s success.

“We just cannot thank you enough. You are the reason NAHCO is doing so well and setting the standard in the entire sub-region,” he said.

Adding that the company remains committed to enhancing service quality and implementing measures to maintain and improve operational excellence.

In his address, the Group Executive Director, Commercial & Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, highlighted NAHCO’s sustained leadership in the Nigerian aviation sector.

“Our continued investment in equipment overhaul and the comprehensive renewal of our ground support fleet, alongside the strategic deployment of a highly skilled workforce, has further strengthened our ability to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable services,” he stated.

Prince Lasisi underscored the company’s unwavering focus on safety, declaring, “Safety above everything. That is what NAHCO is known for. We don’t compromise on safety. With the progress we have made and the partnerships we continue to nurture, we are confident in our capacity to deliver even greater value in the years to come.”

He further pointed to NAHCO’s commitment to innovation and client-centric services, noting, “The enhancements to our ground support equipment reflect our deep commitment to placing our clients at the center of everything we do. At NAHCO, every client receives priority—not as an exception, but as an established standard.”

Detailing the company’s strides in modernizing its ground support fleet, Lasisi revealed that over the past three years, NAHCO has acquired more than 271 new pieces of ground support equipment (GSE), including 35 tractors commissioned in a single month.

“Our plan is a complete refleeting of our GSEs so that you will only see new GSEs when you see NAHCO working,” he said.

He also highlighted the company’s focus on improving cargo handling, particularly in export processing and packaging. “Our Export Processing Centre is the only export processing centre in Nigeria, and we’re working on replicating the same across the country,” Lasisi explained, emphasizing investments in modern technology to ensure perishable cargo from Nigeria meets international standards.

Stakeholders at the event—including representatives of major domestic and international airlines, cargo agents, and regulators—commended NAHCO for its consistent excellence, responsiveness in emergencies, and commitment to setting industry benchmarks.

The gathering served not only as a gesture of appreciation but also as a reaffirmation of NAHCO’s pledge to uphold the highest standards of service, safety, and innovation in the aviation handling sector.
