In keeping with a long-standing tradition, the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance), on Friday, hosted its Muslim clients and stakeholders for a special breaking of fast (Iftar) event in Lagos, fostering unity and reaffirming its relationship with a key segment of its clientele.

The gathering, described by NAHCO as a celebration of togetherness and oneness, brought together prominent Muslim business partners, exporters, and stakeholders who rely on the company’s aviation and logistics services.

Speaking at the event, the Group Executive Director, Commercial & Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, emphasised the significance of the occasion.

“The holy month of Ramadan is a very important one for every Muslim faithful. For us in NAHCO, we always use the opportunity to identify with these important stakeholders while praying that our sacrifices be accepted,” he said.

Prince Lasisi noted that the annual breaking of fast event is more than a social gathering; it is a gesture of appreciation to clients and stakeholders who have consistently contributed to the company’s growth.

“This event allows us to identify with the sacrifices made by our Muslim stakeholders during the holy month,” he added.

Beyond the ceremonial aspect, Lasisi used the occasion to reiterate NAHCO’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class ground handling services across Africa.

He highlighted the company’s recent investment in top-of-the-line ground support equipment (GSE) as part of its re-fleeting program, which began in 2024, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.

He also introduced stakeholders to NAHCO’s unique Export Packaging and Processing Centre (NEPPC), described as the only facility of its kind in Nigeria. “Major exporters seeking compliance for shipments to Europe, America, and the global market have been making extensive use of this centre,” Lasisi said, underscoring NAHCO’s innovative approach to value-added services.

Reiterating the company’s client-focused philosophy, General Manager, External Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Bashir Gulma, stressed the significance of the event. “This Iftar underscores the importance NAHCO places on what matters to its stakeholders, and religion is certainly one of those things,” he said.

Participants at the event praised NAHCO for its hospitality and leadership, urging the company to continue demonstrating excellence not only in aviation services but also in non-core initiatives and Corporate Social Responsibility programs that positively impact stakeholders and the broader community.

By combining tradition, client engagement, and strategic business updates, NAHCO’s Ramadan Iftar exemplifies the company’s approach to building enduring relationships while maintaining operational and service excellence.
