The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (nahco aviance), a provider of total aviation solutions, has secured five new contracts with major international and domestic airlines.
The feat further solidifies its position as a key player in the ground handling sector.
The new agreements include contracts with Royal Air Maroc, Kenya Airways, Dornier Aviation, Enugu Air, and Cronos Airlines.
In a statement released this week, NAHCO highlighted the addition of cargo freighter and cargo warehousing services for Royal Air Maroc at both Lagos and Abuja airports.
This five-year agreement, which runs through November 2029, complements the existing handling contract that covers the airline’s broader operations in Nigeria.
NAHCO has also renewed its long-standing partnership with Kenya Airways.
The renewed contract, which spans the next five years, will cover both passenger and cargo operations, ensuring seamless service delivery as the airline continues to expand its network within Nigeria.
The agreement with Dornier Aviation marks a new venture for NAHCO in handling passenger flight operations.
The three-year contract covers operations at Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Osubi, and other airports across Nigeria, showcasing NAHCO’s extensive capability to manage a wide range of airport operations.
In another major development, the newly established Enugu Air has chosen NAHCO to handle all its operations in Nigeria.
The five-year agreement will focus on passenger flight operations across multiple locations in the country, adding another key client to NAHCO’s growing roster.
NAHCO also signed a three-year renewal contract with Cronos Airline, which will cover passenger flight operations at Lagos and Port Harcourt airports.
This renewal further strengthens NAHCO’s relationship with international carriers operating in Nigeria.
These new contracts are part of NAHCO’s broader strategy to continue building strong partnerships with both regional and international carriers.
Earlier this year, the company also announced new contracts with regional operators such as Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, expanding its service offerings in Nigeria.
Prince Saheed Lasisi, Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development at NAHCO, expressed his satisfaction with the new contracts, describing them as mutually beneficial for both NAHCO and the airlines involved.
“This is truly very good for NAHCO and the airlines we have signed these contracts with. When the client’s aircraft is on the ground, there is just one company that can take care of its operations like her very own. That company is NAHCO.
This fact is not lost on airline operators. Those who want the best service will always come to us,” Lasisi stated.
Also commenting, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, the Group Managing Director of NAHCO, also expressed optimism about the company’s future, calling the recent contracts a sign of greater things to come. He reassured clients and stakeholders of NAHCO’s continued commitment to daily improvements and consistency in all areas of its operations.
With these new contracts, the NAHCO boss said it will continue to solidify its reputation as one of the leading ground handling companies in Nigeria by offering superior services to both international and domestic airlines and reinforcing its competitive edge in the aviation industry.
