The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance), has announced the signing of a series of new and renewed ground handling contracts with major domestic, regional and international airlines, reinforcing its dominant position in the aviation services market.
In a statement released recently, the company disclosed that it had renewed long-standing contracts with leading European carriers Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic for the provision of total ground handling solutions.

The renewal agreements highlights the confidence global airlines continue to repose in NAHCO’s operational capacity, safety standards and service quality.
NAHCO also confirmed the renewal of its contract with African carrier RwandAir, further strengthening its footprint across the continent.
The renewed agreements with Air France and KLM are for three years and will run until 2028, while the Virgin Atlantic contract is also for a three-year duration. The RwandAir renewal is effective from October 1, 2025, and will run for three years.
Beyond renewals, the ground handling giant announced the signing of fresh contracts with United Nigeria Airlines (Regional operations), Bellagio Air and Malaikair.
The contract with United Nigeria – Regional is for a five-year period, effective August 1, 2025. Bellagio Air’s agreement spans three years, while Malaikair signed a five-year contract with NAHCO.
Bellagio Air, described as one of Nigeria’s rising aviation brands, is positioning itself as a premium carrier that blends luxury, efficiency and reliability. Headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, the airline operates across key domestic and regional routes with a focus on world-class service delivery.
Malaikair, on the other hand, is a regional, customer-centric airline with a mission to promote accessible and affordable air travel, while strengthening connectivity between Africa and the Caribbean.
Commenting on the development, NAHCO’s Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, expressed delight at the growing list of contracts, noting that the company is fully prepared to exceed customers’ expectations.
According to him, NAHCO’s more than 46 years of unblemished service excellence sets it apart from competitors in the industry.
“This is what we have been doing for almost half of a century. We will continue to delight our customers and make our stakeholders happy by exceeding expectations in all aspects of our service offerings. We are always willing and ready to do more,” Lasisi said.
Also speaking, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NAHCO Plc, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, said the deployment of a new fleet of modern groundhandling equipment would further enhance service delivery across all stations, assuring airline partners of improved efficiency, safety and turnaround times.
