The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is set to roll out the drums to mark its 25th anniversary of regulatory excellence.
The Silver Jubilee ball kicks off with a grand Symposium and Gala Nite on February 15, 2025 in Abuja.
According to the regulatory body, the event is wrapped around honouring past accomplishments and recalibrating strategies that would birth a glorious future.
These are also consistent with its staunch commitment to aviation safety, economic regulation and air navigation oversight in alignment with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs).
Since its establishment, NCAA has played a strategic role in shaping Nigeria’s aviation landscape.
Over the years, it has evolved, strengthened its regulatory framework and continuously improved its oversight mechanisms.
As the Authority looks forward to another quarter-century of excellence, this momentous occasion provides an opportunity for deep reflection, strategic discussions, and renewed commitment to the future of aviation in Nigeria.
At the heart of the celebration is a symposium themed “Aviation Finance and Revenue Assurance Summit”, with a focus on enhancing cost recovery capabilities and administrative efficiency.
The discourse will center on the critical financial and regulatory challenges facing the aviation industry, exploring sustainable solutions to ensure efficient revenue generation, cost recovery mechanisms, and financial sustainability in NCAA’s operations.
Aviation and finance experts will engage in thought-provoking discussions, offering insights into optimizing financial management and regulatory efficiency.
Following the symposium, the evening will transition into an elegant Gala Nite, where industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders will gather to celebrate NCAA’s achievements, enduring legacy, and future aspirations.
The event will not only highlight the Authority’s successes over the past 25 years but also serve as a platform to strengthen industry collaborations, foster innovation, and pave the way for a more dynamic and resilient aviation sector.
