Mr. Imalighwe, whose career journey was described as one of “humble beginnings that blossomed to the peak through hard work and sheer determination,” received glowing tributes from colleagues, staff, and management of the college.

In his remarks, the Rector/Chief Executive of NCAT, Dr. Danjuma Ismaila, lauded the celebrant for his sterling contributions and impactful years of service to the institution.

“We appreciate the celebrant for a very sterling and impactful service in NCAT. I enjoin him to keep up the testament of good spirit that has endeared and earned him great commendation and admiration of the staff,” Dr. Ismaila said.

He further assured Mr. Imalighwe of the college’s unwavering support even in retirement.

“We assure him of the college’s continued support to ensure he never walks alone as he bows from active service. We pray for him to enjoy good health, peace, and happiness in his new status as a very senior citizen.”

In an emotional response, Mr. Imalighwe expressed deep gratitude to God and to the NCAT community for shaping and strengthening his career.

“I am grateful to God and to all the staff who helped to shape and strengthen my glorious career. I solemnly enjoin everyone to be kind and supportive of one another.
