The Onward Public Relations (TOPR), a new strategic communication, reputation management and media engagement outfit is set for unveiling on April 1, 2025.

Founded by Basil Agboarumi, a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the full-service PR agency is launching with a mission to help businesses, public figures and organisations take control of their narratives, strengthen their reputations, and maximise their influence in a fast-evolving digital world.

According to him, at the core of TOPR’s vision is a commitment to shaping perceptions and telling compelling stories that elevate brands.

“Public relations is more than just media coverage—it’s about shaping perceptions, telling the right stories, and ensuring that brands remain relevant and respected.

“At TOPR, we don’t just manage reputations; we craft legacies that stand the test of time.”

Agboarumi assured that with businesses, startups, government agencies, and high-profile individuals facing growing public scrutiny and the need for authenticity, TOPR is set to provide bespoke communication solutions that enhance credibility, visibility, and long-term impact.

He said TOPR’s service offering spans media relations, brand positioning, crisis communication, reputation management, and corporate storytelling.

However, its approach extends beyond traditional PR by integrating:Data-driven insights to shape narratives that resonate with target audiences; Digital media and influencer engagement to amplify brand messages across modern platforms; Thought leadership positioning to establish clients as industry authorities
Whether managing a high-stakes crisis, launching a product, or building strategic media relationships, TOPR ensures that every campaign is results-driven and tailored to the client’s unique needs.

TOPR, he said, is already engaging with brands and individuals seeking more than just publicity—they want a trusted partner that builds sustainable influence.

With its deep industry expertise and commitment to innovative communication strategies, TOPR is poised to become a leading force in Nigeria’s PR landscape, helping clients navigate today’s complex media ecosystem with confidence and precision.
