United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) is set to achieve a major milestone with the launch of its first-ever regional operations, offering direct, non-stop flights from Abuja and Lagos to Accra, Ghana, beginning Monday, November 10, 2025.
The inaugural flight, NUA 0590, will depart Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 10:35 a.m., arriving at Kotoka International Airport, Accra, to mark a new era for both the airline and West African air travel.
This historic capital-to-capital connection between Abuja and Accra, operated by a Nigerian carrier, signals United Nigeria Airlines’ commitment to deepening regional integration, boosting trade and tourism, and fostering cultural exchange across West Africa.
It also marks UNA’s first international operation since commencing commercial flights in February 2021.

“The launch of the Accra route reflects United Nigeria Airlines’ commitment to our mission statement, ‘Flying to Unite.’ With this expansion, we reinforce our role as a unifier of people, businesses, and opportunities across the region and beyond,”
the airline stated.
UNA described the new service as more than a business move, a bridge between nations that will strengthen economic, social, and cultural ties across the subregion.
“Our pledge remains to deliver safe, reliable, and world-class service as we expand our footprint across the continent,”
the airline added.
The Accra route represents a strategic progression in UNA’s vision to “unite” communities and economies across Africa, positioning the airline as a key player in the region’s connectivity and development.
The airline said Tickets for the new service are now available globally via flyunitednigeria.com and all authorized travel agencies.
