United Nigeria Airlines has awarded complimentary return tickets to four winners at the 2025 Rotary Sports Festival (ROSFEST’25) in Lagos, in a feat consistent with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) blueprint.

Hosted by Rotary District 9112, ROSFEST’25 championed charity, teamwork, and physical fitness among Rotarians.

As the official airline sponsor, United Nigeria Airlines reinforced its commitment to connecting people, families, businesses, and communities through seamless air travel.

In line with this commitment, the airline rewarded four lucky winners with return flight tickets.

Adeola Banjoko and Hakeem Amao clinched their tickets as the best female and male golfers, respectively, while Halima Oluwakemi Olusesi and Rebecca Omokaro Isoke won through a raffle draw held during the Awards Dinner and Raffle Night.

United Nigeria Airlines was also recognised with an Award of Excellence for its outstanding contributions to the aviation industry.

The honor underscored the airline’s role in enhancing connectivity, elevating customer satisfaction, and driving service innovation in Nigeria’s air travel sector.

Representing United Nigeria Airlines, its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Raphael Uchegbu emphasised that the airline’s partnership with ROSFEST’25 aligns with its central mission of connecting dreams, cultures, and people.

He praised Rotary District 9112 for its dedication to sports and charity, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to supporting sporting events and social initiatives across Nigeria.

“Our sponsorship of ROSFEST’25 aligns with our vision of using aviation as a tool for unity and national development. As we continue to expand our impact, we remain dedicated to fostering social engagement through corporate social responsibility initiatives,” Uchegbu stated.

He further noted that the winners of the return tickets will enjoy additional benefits, including a one-year ticket validity, offering them greater flexibility in planning their trips across the airline’s domestic network.

United Nigeria Airlines, which recently added the Lagos–Abuja–Katsina route to its network, also renewed its sponsorship deal with Nigerian Premier League giants, Enyimba FC.
