Passengers flying with United Nigeria Airlines on the Lagos–Abuja–Lagos route on May 29 will have a chance to win Samsung smartphones, following a new promotional partnership with Samsung.
The airline disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, unveiling the initiative tagged “Awesome Row,” designed to enhance onboard experience and reward customer loyalty.
Under the scheme, passengers on selected flights along the busy Lagos–Abuja corridor will be given access to Samsung devices during the flight, with winners emerging through an onboard lucky dip to receive brand-new smartphones.
Speaking on the partnership, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dayo Olawuyi, said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering quality service and memorable travel experiences.
“We partnered with Samsung because of our shared values of excellence and most importantly, to reward our loyal passengers with a live device experience.
Passengers who fly with us on May 29 either from Lagos to Abuja or from Abuja to Lagos in the morning will stand a chance to win a Galaxy phone. We are very passionate about ensuring our customers have the best experience and that is exactly the kind of thing we want people to associate with flying United Air,” he said.
According to the airline, devices available for the promotion include the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, with all passengers on the specified flights automatically eligible to participate.
The initiative is part of broader efforts by United Nigeria Airlines to differentiate its service offering on Nigeria’s most competitive domestic route, while deepening customer engagement through experiential partnerships.
