Air Peace has announced the expansion of its regional operations with the introduction of scheduled flight services from Lagos to Douala in Cameroon, Libreville in Gabon, Bamako in Mali and Conakry in Guinea.
The airline said the new routes will commence on August 1, 2026, marking another major step in its drive to deepen connectivity across Africa and strengthen Lagos’ position as a key aviation hub on the continent.

According to the airline, the expansion aligns with its broader strategy of improving travel links within Africa while promoting trade, tourism, investment, cultural exchange and economic integration among African countries.
Under the new schedule, flights on the Lagos-Douala-Libreville-Douala-Lagos route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The service will depart Lagos at 8:00 a.m., arrive in Douala at 9:30 a.m., continue to Libreville at 10:10 a.m. and land at 11:30 a.m.
The return journey will depart Libreville at 12:10 p.m., arrive in Douala at 1:30 p.m. and proceed to Lagos, arriving at 3:40 p.m.
The Lagos-Bamako-Conakry-Bamako-Lagos route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Flights will depart Lagos at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Bamako at 8:30 a.m. before continuing to Conakry. The return service will connect passengers back through Bamako to Lagos.
Air Peace said the new services would significantly enhance its regional network and provide passengers with easier access to destinations across West and Central Africa.
The airline noted that travellers arriving from Douala, Libreville, Bamako and Conakry would be able to connect seamlessly through Lagos to several Nigerian cities, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Asaba, Gombe, Ibadan, Yola and Maiduguri.
Passengers will also have access to the carrier’s growing international network, including flights to London Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom and Caribbean destinations such as Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados.
The airline said the expanded network would create new opportunities for business travel, tourism, education, family visits and trade between Africa and the rest of the world.
Commenting on the development, Air Peace management said: “The launch of these new regional services underscores our commitment to connecting Africa through safe, reliable, and affordable air transportation.
By expanding our footprint across West and Central Africa, we are not only providing more travel options for our customers but also facilitating commerce, tourism, investment, and regional integration.
Lagos continues to evolve as a key hub in our network strategy, enabling seamless connections between Africa and international destinations.”
The airline added that the new routes support the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area and the Single African Air Transport Market by improving air connectivity and reducing travel barriers across the continent.
Air Peace encouraged travel agencies, corporate organisations and passengers to take advantage of the new services, competitive fares, baggage allowances and wider connectivity options across its network.
Bookings for the routes have already opened through the airline’s website, mobile application, contact centre and accredited travel agencies.
The carrier said the latest expansion reinforces its ambition of making air travel more accessible while positioning Nigeria as a leading aviation gateway connecting Africa to global destinations.
Air Peace currently operates one of the continent’s largest route networks, serving domestic, regional and international destinations across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean with a fleet that includes Boeing 777s, Boeing 737 aircraft and Embraer jets.
The airline said it remains focused on driving economic growth, facilitating trade and tourism, and enhancing connectivity across Africa and beyond.
