Air Peace has announced a major expansion of its domestic flight operations, increasing frequencies and seat capacity across several key routes as it moves to meet rising travel demand during the Summer/Winter 2026 season.
The new schedule, which takes effect from June 22, 2026, will see Nigeria’s largest airline operate more flights on some of the country’s busiest routes, offering passengers greater flexibility and more travel options.
Under the revised schedule, flights between Lagos and Abuja will increase to as many as seven daily services, while Lagos-Owerri will have up to four daily flights.

Lagos-Asaba will operate up to three times daily, while Lagos-Benin, Lagos-Warri and Lagos-Enugu will each have up to two daily flights.
The airline will also increase services on Abuja-Owerri and Abuja-Asaba routes, with up to two daily flights on each corridor.
Air Peace said the expanded operations are designed to strengthen connectivity across Nigeria while improving convenience for both business and leisure travellers.
The airline noted that the additional services would be operated with its fleet of next-generation aircraft, providing more seats, improved reliability and enhanced passenger comfort.
Commenting on the development, Air Peace Management said the increase in flights was a response to growing passenger demand during the peak travel season.
“As travel demand continues to rise during the summer season, we are strategically increasing capacity and frequencies on key domestic routes to better serve our customers.
“These additional flights will provide greater flexibility, improved travel options, and more convenient schedules for both business and leisure travelers at very affordable fares. Our objective remains to connect people, businesses, and communities while delivering a superior travel experience,” the management stated.
The airline added that the move would further strengthen links between major commercial hubs and regional centres across the country, helping to support economic activities, trade, tourism and national integration.
Industry observers say increased flight frequencies on major domestic routes could help ease travel bottlenecks, particularly on high-demand corridors such as Lagos-Abuja and Lagos-Owerri, while also providing passengers with more scheduling options.
According to Air Peace, the expansion forms part of its broader strategy to improve network accessibility, boost schedule reliability and provide customers with a wider range of travel choices while maintaining high safety and service standards.
The carrier urged passengers to take advantage of the expanded schedule by booking through its website, mobile application, contact centre and accredited travel agencies nationwide.
The latest development comes as Air Peace continues to expand its footprint across domestic, regional and international markets.
Over the years, the airline has grown into one of Africa’s largest carriers, operating a fleet that includes Boeing 777s, Boeing 737-700s, Boeing 737-800s and Embraer aircraft.
With operations spanning Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean, the airline said it remains focused on making air travel more accessible and affordable while strengthening Nigeria’s position as a leading aviation hub on the continent.
