The second edition of the JustNet Transport Summit will hold on Friday, October 23, in Ikeja, Lagos, with industry stakeholders expected to discuss solutions to challenges facing the transportation, energy and trade sectors.

The summit, organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News, will take place at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja.

With the theme, “Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future,” the event will focus on strengthening transport infrastructure, improving energy security and facilitating trade amid global economic uncertainties.

The Chief Executive Officer of JustAlive Communications Limited, Mrs Pearl Ngwama, said all arrangements had been concluded for the summit, expressing confidence that it would produce meaningful discussions and practical recommendations for Nigeria’s transportation sector.

Ngwama said prominent personalities expected at the event included the Chairman of the occasion, Enisuoh of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; transport and aviation expert, Dr Richard Aisuebeogun; energy-sector stakeholder, Thomas Ogungbangbe; and transport industry professional, Femi Aiyegbajeje.

She said their participation would enrich discussions on the relationship between transportation, energy and trade, particularly as global disruptions, rising operating costs and changing market conditions continue to affect the mobility industry.

According to her, the summit will also examine the need for stronger collaboration among government agencies, regulators, investors and private-sector operators to address structural challenges across the transport value chain.

Ngwama said the event was designed to promote policy dialogue and industry engagement, while providing participants with opportunities to exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore solutions to challenges confronting the sector.

She added that the summit was expected to generate recommendations to improve efficiency, strengthen resilience and enhance the competitiveness of Nigeria’s transportation industry and related sectors.
